Try Lively Bra Styles & Sizes!

This post offers our readers a code off to shop at Lively!

I stopped shopping a the mass bra retailer in the mall ten years ago and have been looking for a great bra company since.  I need a company that has ethical values I am agree with and not just a retailer.  I am now a huge fan of Lively bras.  Bras that actually fit.  I loathe wearing a bra.  Did I mention that? Being a larger size, I cannot exactly go the search went on for years.  I have tried several styles at Lively and am thrilled with them.  There are several (more than that) more that I am going to try.

Gorgeous styles and colors and a perfect fit even if you don't like bras!

Use our $10 off code and shipping is free over $40 as well.
It's a great time to try Lively!  If you do not love as much as we do, just send back.

Raw Cashew Veggie Dip!

We are so pleased to collaborate with Stonyfield for this yummy post!

We just love this veggie dip for the holidays and it comes guilt-free - the more the merrier! There is no reason to lose taste while maintaining healthy choices during the holidays and this healthy dip makes for a spectacular way to start off the New Year!  This amazing raw cashew dip is full of flax seed oil, carrots, beets and Stonyfield Organic Greek Yogurt for extra awesomeness!
We always choose Stonyfield Organic Greek in whole milk plain -
no added sugar, just plain goodness!

Ingredients -

3/4 cup of raw cashews - make sure they are raw
1 whole organic lemon - all the juice (& the zest makes for gorgeous topping)
Sea Salt - a pinch
Pepper - 2 cranks of freshly ground pepper
Cayenne Pepper - tiny pinch (add more if you like the heat)
Turmeric - 1 1/2 teas
Flax Seed Oil - 1 tablespoon and more if needed
Hemp Seeds - 1 tablespoon
Chia Seeds - 2 teas
Lemon Thyme - 2-3 fresh sprigs
Squeeze of fresh orange
2 cups of - carrots and beets - a mix of both is great

We used purple carrots and yellow beets in the picture.
If you would like a darker more purply color dip - use a red beet instead.

Blend together in a high powered blender - we use Vitamix

Top with fresh lemon thyme, chia seeds or an extra dollop of Stonyfield!

My Notes -

I use organic and non-irradiated spices.
I use Organic Greek and Grass Fed Stonyfield Yogurt - we like whole milk and no sugar.  Stonyfield Greek Yogurt is excellent for replacing sour cream on top of your chili or black bean soup, mayo and a variety of other toppings and parfaits!

Slice raw beets, carrots, apples, cauliflower, cucumbers and other veggies to use to dip!

Celebrate the holidays with healthy foods, great friends and family and a spectacular cup of coffee!  For the holidays we are using Krups Coffee Maker - please see our InstaStories for our caffeine adventures!

This post is in collaboration with Stonyfield. Opinions are mine (and that of my family).  We buy Stonyfield yogurts weekly - sponsored or not!

Winter parties are the besets - no cooler needed! Add in LED battery lighting for festive fun!

Chill your glass in the snow before pouring!

Let's be honest shall we?
The first step in your holiday party is picking out the coolest party glass!   We bought these frosted blue high balls at Anthropologie.

The second of course is getting the best alcohol and soda- small batch and organic, if possible.

Your favorite flavors and always try a new flavor.  That's what parties are for!

Ingredients -

Small batch gin
Vodka - we like Reyka
Flavored Organic Soda - we like Sipp!
Sugared Cranberries
Fresh Rosemary
Fresh Thyme
Lime wedges
Orange Wedges

Add 7 ounces of flavored soda to your glass full of ice.
Top with 1 ounce of vodka or gin.

Choose your garnish -

 Orange wedge and sugared cranberries
Rosemary and Sugared Cranberries
Lime Wedge and/or thyme sprig

Add party straw!~
Add in sugared cranberries!
We did an ounce of gin and Ginger Blossom 7oz Sipp Organic Soda and topped it Mojo Berry and fresh rosemary sprigs.

Winter Bogs Boots Giveaway!

We are happily teaming up with Bogs Footwear for this post and giveaway!

I grew up in the tropics and never owned a coat much less a pair of snow boots.   Now that I live in the north, I'm obsessed with winter and the beauty of snow!  Snow is magical to me, as long as I'm dressed for it - hats with balls on top, scarves, colorful down coats are my favorite and a pair of incredible snow boots.  I have to say, I now own several (we don't really need to discuss exactly how many pairs I have... ;) and these new Arcata Striped Boots in Cherry  are simply awesome.n  The color pops and they are SO incredibly warm and cozy - I may need a pair for inside to wear as slippers!  Seriously, I love them!  My teen daughter happens to agree and thinks them equally awesome!
The Arcata Boots in Cherry Color.

These women's boots take on frigid snow days with a 100% waterproof build, subzero insulation and fluffy high-pile lining. A hefty GlacialGrip lug outsole keeps you sure-footed on wintry surfaces. Arcata boots are crafted so that each boot has a unique stripe pattern. - Bogs Footwear

  • 100% waterproof
  • Constructed with 7MM Neo-Tech waterproof insulation and wool
  • GlacialGrip outsole provides traction on wintry surfaces
  • DuraFresh bio-technology activates to fight odor
  • Lined with Bogs Max-Wick to keep feet dry
  • Contoured EVA footbed with DuraFresh bio-technology that activates to fight odors
  • Comfort rated to -40F/-40C
  • 8" Height
These are the Arcata Boots in Black Multi Color.  They are black, grey and off white.

So warm and fuzzy!  They have a unique stripy pattern.
No two are alike and that may just be the reason they're my favorite!
( I find matchy matchy a bit dull!)

We are partial to the Arcata Stripped boots right now, but have owned many pairs of Bogs Footwear over the years and have always been pleased as punch over all of them!  Like these Crandall Tall Boots!

I have athletic legs and sadly tall boots don't work well for me.  These are the perfect height for me!

My kiddo has always worn even in the 90 degree heat - rain boots!  He is obsessed.
When the snow comes, he changes into snow boots!

Bogs Boots go everywhere he does!

So look online and see what pair of boots you would choose if you win!

Comment below and I'll add your comment to the entries.

Skillet Spiced Cranberry-Apples Crumble!

Our yummy recipe was first featured at Organic Authority!

Cranberries are holiday happiness and we just cannot get enough!  We are in full baking mode and spices, citrus, apples and cranberries just all play together so nicely! Add unbleached unbromated flours if gluten free is not an issue.  Spelt flour works nicely with this dish, as well.
Fresh organic ingredients make the dish!

Autumn is full of my favorite flavors - spices, apples and cranberries.  This quick and easy crumble is a favorite of ours for the entire autumn and winter season.

We used a variety of apples, whatever was in our cupboard and fresh cranberries and premium spices for the strongest tastes.

This super easy crisp (or crumble, as some call it) is so fragrant and makes the most delicious dish for the holidays.  Add some vanilla or creme fraiche on top and ohhhh my!

The secret is to heat your iron skillet and saute the apples, cranberries, orange and spices before adding the oat and flour topping.  You might even want to skip the topping and just finish cooking the apples to top some homemade ice cream - seriously spectacular!

Apples - 2 1/2 cups
Cranberries - 1 cup fresh
Grass Fed Butter - 8 oz (room temp)
Coconut Oil - Culinary 2 tablespoons
Vietnamese Cinnamon - 2 heaping teas
Cardamon - 1 teas
Ginger - 1/2 teas
1 cup of oat flour or buckwheat (both are gluten free)
2 cups of oats - I use veganic oats
3 oz of unbleached sugar
Oranges - 2 for zesting and juice

Bake -

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Preheat skillet on stove top at medium low and melt in coconut oil.
Slice & peel apples and pour in skillet on top of melted coconut oil
Add in 2 teas of butter and 2 tablespoons of muscovado sugar
Pour cranberries on top of apples
Add in 1 teas of Vietnamese Cinnamon, 1/2 teas ginger, 1/2 teas of nutmeg & juice of half orange and 1 tablespoon of zest.
Stir together as the butter is melting.
Being sure to cover the all the apples and cranberries with the liquid.
Let cook for 2 minutes, stirring often.
Mix together the oats, flour, 6 oz of butter, 1 teas of cinnamon, 1 teas of cardamon, juice of 1/2 orange and 3 oz of sugar.
Pour the mix on top of the sautéed apples-cranberry mix.
Place in oven at 350 degrees.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until done.
Remove and enjoy warm with creme fraiche or vanilla ice cream

Always use organic oranges for zesting!
Spices and fresh organic oranges make all-the-difference!

Sauté first then taste!  You may just decide to top your ice cream or Greek Yogurt with this fruit topping!

My Notes -

We always use organic apples regardless of variety.
Gorgeous Skillet is from Staub - we love all the colors!
Knife is Miyabi

Happy Holidays, Lovelies and

Brunch In The City With Kenyon Grills!

This delicious post is in collaboration with Kenyon City Grills!

We travel constantly and most of the time stay in the city.  One thing we have always had to leave at home is our flame grill.  It's huge and not allowed in any of the rentals and apartments we stay at anyway.  Kenyon City Grills has changed all that and I don't think we'll ever need our flame grill!  Kenyon City Grills are made in USA and are by far the most well-built grill (and the stand) we have ever seen or had the pleasure of using!  My husband is extremely impressed and he's not easily impressed.

Everyone knows burgers are great on the grill and Kenyon City Grills are no exception to that.  Have you ever made breakfast entirely on your grill though?   We do!  If you follow us on Instagram you know we have been having the most fun making breakfast / brunch on our new grill and my teenager rules at grilling!

The Kenyon City Grill is built like a boss and comes with two tops -
grilling and a smooth griddle surface (shown above).

There was zero smell when we first turned on.  None of that burning off the oil smell I find on other appliances.

The stainless steel cart is premium, the grill itself extraordinary!
The utensils come in a sturdy on-the-go handled case.

Our City Grill Stainless steel cart comes with ample room for all our fresh ingredients for egg toasties!

Absolute Perfection!
